I can't post these on the usual sites because of spoilers, but I had to get them up somewhere! They can't ALL be winners but I'm mostly proud of my experiment in low level paper craft.

Its halloween month! Therefore our assignment this week was to draw ourselves as a zombie. My initial drawing was subpar so I drew a second maggotier version which I think was much better.

The following are a series of sketches done over last tuesday.

Refining character designs for an external project.

Leaf drop, progress.

In progress animation of my leaf drop. Need to seriously slow down the entire thing and draw 1-2 other leaf shapes I am missing. In addition I plan on hand drawing a background, as the mountains are currently just placeholders to provide a sense of depth.

This weeks sketch was ourselves as a

Fleischer studio rubberhose character.

Sketch used to develop character, then colored in photoshop.

Final Sketch, I much prefer the original sketch, attempted to remove random rubberhose elements and make it more me. I think the end result was overall weaker.
